tinkl is a bathroom-finder app that helps users locate bathrooms in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, with the aim of helping trans, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming individuals find safe restrooms that they can use without fear of harassment.

The context:

Tinkl asked us to evaluate and test their existing website/app, to better understand how usable and effective it was.

An excerpt from a cognitive walkthrough of twelve tasks a user might take. As you can see, no major issues arose, but when we went through the same tasks with a user, it became apparent where there’s room for improvement in the app.
